CommentsThe ""official Renaissance Festival for the state of Florida"" passed by Florida legislature 1994. Public Relations: Bill Sims. Temporary craft booths. Carnival in Venice theme with costume and booth awards. Entertainment features include Living Chessmatch, Masque Di San Marco Dancers, Commedia del Arte Players, Italian flag throwers, daily Ceremony by the Sea, Leonardo di Vinci & Michaelangelo. Special admission price for 2 University Field-trip days. Always hed in the third weekend in March. National Education Assn. names festival in top 5 of ""Educational, Cultural, and Family events"" 95 thru 00. Member of the Federation of European Historical Events.
